My Favorite Video Games On Every Console

girl holding switch

If y’all watch my vlogs or follow my instagram then you probably know that I play video games from time to time. Between my boyfriend and I, we have owned/own pretty much every single gaming console that has ever existed. Although I don’t really consider myself to be a gamer(and my boyfriend likes to remind me of that when I attempt to play his games, and can barely even make the character walk straight) I’ve been trying to expand my horizons on the games that I play lately. So today I decided to share a list of my favorite games for every console I’ve played recently.

PS4 FAVORITE: Life Is Strange

The storyline of this game is sooo good. It’s more like a movie or TV show than it is a game. It’s about a student named Max who realizes she has the ability to rewind time and change the outcome of situations. I don’t want to spoil too much in case you decide to play it, but an example of this is at the beginning of the game. Max witnesses a classmate murdering another classmate, so Max rewinds time so she can stop the murder from happening. The choice of when to rewind time and when not to is completely up to you, the player… but every decision you make has a consequence and you won’t know if it’s good or bad until it happens. Life Is Strange gets very addicting, because like a TV show or movie, you want to find out what’s gonna happen next.

I don’t know how anyone could say their favorite 3DS game is anything other than Pokemon. That’s the whole reason I got my 3DS! I’ve loved the Pokemon games since Gameboy, and they’re definitely my favorite games of all time. Judge me. Pokemon Moon was one of the best out of the Pokemon series, in my opinion. The graphics are the best they’ve ever been. The storyline was good and much different than all the others(there are trials instead of gyms). The only thing I didn’t like about this game(and I noticed the same issue in OmegaRuby) is how easy it is to beat. In the old Pokemon games, the battles were much harder. Maybe it was because I was like 8 at the time but still… I think they did dumb these newer Pokemon games down a little bit. For example, your “rival” usually has the type of Pokemon that is strong against your starter Pokemon, so that it’s harder to beat them. Let’s say you start with a fire Pokemon.. your rival would have a water type Pokemon, because water is strong against fire. In the newer Pokemon games if you start with a fire type, your rival will have a grass type, which is weak against fire. See what a mean? Other than that, Pokemon Moon was the shit and I’m anticipating the next Pokemon game already.

XBOX ONE FAVORITE: Bully(Scholarship Edition)

Bully is technically an old PS2 game that was made available on Xbox 360, but play it on Xbox One. I don’t really like many Xbox games, so if you have any suggestions for me leave them in the comments. Anyway, Bully is an oldie but goodie. You play as a new student at a boarding school. You can play pranks on the preps, fight the jocks, help the nerds, go to class(or don’t)… the opportunities are endless. Just don’t get caught. It’s fun, because basically you just go around being an asshole.

I’ve never played any PC games other than The Sims, so obviously it’s my favorite. I’m not gonna say much about this game… it’s been around forever and everyone’s played it. If you don’t know what it is, what are you doing with your life?? I have yet to play the University expansion pack, but it’s next on my list to get.

NINTENDO SWITCH FAVORITE: The Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild

There’s really no other choice for a favorite game on the Switch right now. THIS. IS. IT. Even if more games had been released for the Switch already, this would probably still be my favorite.(Unless they released a Pokemon game, of course *hair flip*) I enjoyed The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on my Nintendo64 back in the day, so I already knew I would like this game. Will I ever finish this game? I don’t know, but it’s definitely a good game and one that will keep you occupied for HOURS.

11 Fierce & Inspiring Vloggers

Collage of female youtubers

I don’t know about you, but one of my guilty pleasures is watching vlogs on Youtube. Now that it’s December, it’s the wonderful time of year in which vloggers post new vlogs every single day until Christmas… Yep, it’s Vlogmas.

vlog (noun)

A blog in which the postings are primarily in video form.

My favorite vloggers to watch are ones who make me want to get up off my ass and be productive. I decided to compile a list of some of my favorites so you can check them out too! They are:

Kathryn Ann

Kathryn started out doing makeup and hair tutorials(which are still on her channel, btw), but she’s switched over to vlogging her daily life and experiences with nursing school. She also does study tips and cooking videos.

You might recognize Jade(known on Youtube as LipsticknCurls) from back in the myspace days.. She and her twin sister Simone always had their pics stolen for catfish profiles. After taking a hiatus from social media for a little bit, Jade came back and is now more “social media famous” than ever. In addition to vlogging, she does beauty, hair, and girl talk/inspirational talk videos about whatever’s on her mind.

Drea’s channel focuses on her to day to day life as a young adult. When I first started watching her she was adjusting to post-college life and a new relationship. Now her vlogs show her experiences being a wife and new mother.

Megan is the first vlogger I ever watched! She’s known for her extremely popular beauty channel under the name Megan Leigh(previously known as ciaoobelllaxo). LaVitaDiMeg is her vlog channel where she shows her day to day life and also talks about living with anxiety and depression.

If you need some positivity and self-love in your life, Marissa’s channel is a go-to! After going through a tough break up around this time last year, Marissa has been doing #YearOfYou.. encouraging her viewers and herself to focus on loving themselves and making themselves happy.  She also does some healthy eating and advice videos.

Bianca Bee

Bianca Bee is someone I personally relate to A LOT. She’s a college grad trying to make it in the media industry. She’s a blogger and youtuber, and her channel and blog focus on the current projects she’s working on in her career.

Kalyn Nicholson

Watch one or two of Kalyn’s videos and you’ll be out buying all new home decor for your apartment! Kalyn posts home decor hauls and tips, motivational advice videos(her most recent is called 4 Steps To Get Your Sh*t Together), and healthy eating videos. She definitely has her sh*t together.

Carly is a college grad and well-known for her fashion + lifestyle blog, She isn’t as active on her vlog channel as other youtubers…probably because she’s so busy with her career in the fashion industry and her blog. When she does vlog, it’s interesting to get a peak into her fast-paced life.

Keesha Anderson

Keesha is one of those youtubers that you feel like you’re bff with after watching a few of her videos. She started out vlogging her life as a working college student, and now that she’s graduated, she does YouTube full time. She vlogs her everyday life and also does a few videos where she takes on serious topics she has experienced, such as coming out as a lesbian and domestic violence.

Jenny started YouTube in high school doing comedy and dance videos. Now she does OTG(on the go) with Jenny Ho(Yes, that’s her last name), showing her life with friends, family, at work, and at school.

Shameless Maya

What would happen if you shamelessly promoted yourself online for 365 days? This is exactly what Maya started doing back in 2012 while documenting it on YouTube. She now has 700,000+ subscribers and continues to post inspirational, techie, and fashion videos and vlogs about her life.
